\huge\bold{Homogenous::}

1. All of its componenets are mixed uniformly throughout.

2. There is no clear boundary of separation between it's components.

3. The components cannot be seen by naked eyes.

4. example: alcohol in water, sugar in water, salt in water etc

\huge\bold{Heterogeneous:}

1. Its components are not mixed uniformly throughout.

2. There are visible boundaries of separation between it's components.

3. The components can be seen with naked eyes.

4. example: sand in soil, etc

Difference between homogenous and heterogeneous mixtures :

1) A homogenous mixture is also known as solution whereas a heterogeneous mixture is also known as sol or suspension.

2) A homogenous mixture has uniform composition throughout that is the constitutional cannot be easily seen whereas the composition of heterogeneous mixtures is not uniform throughout.

3) Homogenous mixture can be separated through evaporation whereas heterogeneous mixtures can be separated through centrifugation or filtration.

4) The particles of homogenous mixture appear smaller in size whereas particles of heterogeneous mixture may be smaller or larger.

5) The homogenous mixtures represent same physical properties whereas heterogeneous mixtures do not.

6) Alloys are the example of homogenous mixture and sand is the example of heterogeneous mixtures.
