Given , the equation which is parallel to required equation is :

3x + 5y -9 = 0

and , the point (2,3)

So ,we know that when equations are parallel, their gradient (m) are equal .

So ,

3x + 5y -9= 0

=> 5y = -3x + 9

=> y =( -3/5)x+ 9/5

Therefore Gradient, m1 = -3/5

Now

m1 = m2

m2 = -3/5

Again the line passes through (2,3)

So , required equation

=>y - y1 =m2 ( x - x1)

=> y - 3 = -3/5 ( x - 2)

=> 5(y - 3 )= -3x + 6

=> 5y -15 = -3x +6

=> 3x +5y -21= 0
