let the numbers be x nd y

x+y=20 ----a

x-y=10----b

xy=?

solving a and b

2y=10

y=5

substituting in eq b

x=15

then,

xy=15(5)=75

$x-y = 10$ ------(2)

Adding (1) and (2)

=> $x+y+x-y = 20+10$

=> $2x = 30$

=> $x = \frac{30}{2}$

Using (3) in (1)

=> $x+y = 20$

=> $15+y = 20$

=> $y = 20-15$

=> $\huge\blue{y = 5}$

Product :

=> $15×5$
