Hola Mates !!!
I am again back with my question !!!
Please answer !!
Q- A Ray of light strikes a plane mirror such that it's angle of incidence is 30°. What angle does the reflected Ray make with mirror surface ??
Q- A dentist's mirror has a radius of curvature of 3cm. How far must it be placed from a small dental cavity to give a virtual image of the cavity that is magnified five times ??

heya mate, here is your solution of the question.

Answer no.1 :

it will be 90°-30°=60°

as 90° is the position of the normal and 30° is the angle of incidence.

Answer no.2

Hi mate here is ur query...

========================

1.) reflection angle=incident angle

reflection angle=30°

hence it will make (90-30=60°) with mirror ..

2.)h2/h1=5

or -v/u =5

or v= -5u

now using mirror formula

1/v+1/u. =1/f

or -1/5u + 1/u = -2/3

or u =-1.2 cm

object distance=1.2 cm left from mirror
