Hola Mates..

I am here with a new question..

The use of bearing surfaces that are themselves sacrificial, such as low shear materials, of which lead/copper journal bearings are an example. Replace sliding friction with rolling element friction, such as with the use of rolling element bearings.

hey mate your answer is :

Friction is caused mainly by surface roughness.

So if you reduce surface roughness, you will reduce friction.

Main idea to reduce friction is to reduce or avoid moving surfaces come in direct contact.

Two possible ways are,

Increase the smoothness of surface. By chemichal or mechanical meansUse a lubricant between moving parts solid, liquid or gaseos.

But too much smoothness can have opposite effect, they tend to weld together.

Also if you are dealing with friction in rotational components, you can use bearings.

There are even magneto fluid-bearing. Where magnetic fluid is held by strong magnetic fields hence there is always fluid present between moving parts.

hope it helps
