hi mate ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

hope this help you

the whole poem is based on sin.

the poet features a protagonist that loses his former self and his shipmates due to its casual and cruel act of killing albatross.

actually the mariner was not intentionally cruel.he kills the albatross on a whim.he just doesn't respect nature as part of existence and god's creation. natural forces teaches him a lesson.

HEY MATE HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

I ,think that punishment can't amend sin or a wrong deed .The punishment is the only way by which people can regret their sin . In our chapter THE RIME OF THE ANCIENT MARINER
the people on the ship punish the mariner by hanging the dead albatross in his neck, but by hanging this his sin don't hide but this is the only way to regret ,by this the albatross can't alive which he kill. The person get punishment so he can't do this type sin but can't amend his privious sin.

HOPE IT HELP YOU ♥️♥️
