1) air is heterogeneous as it contains more than one element like eg (air contains co2 n2 h2 Nobel gases and O2 as well)

2)since the amount of nitrogen present in the air is high most of the inhalation is filled with n2 gas some oxygen some co2 and others as well

3)CO2 is the maximum percentage of the exhaled air as co2 build's up in our body and when released most of the co2 comes out.

4)the gas used by aquatic life is O2 which is dissolved in the water so the fish/marine animal can take in o2 with the help of their gills
