Please answer my question dude(s). .....
Why can't torch be an example of convergent beam of light ?
I am asking this question because when we off the button/switch then the light comes back to the source but why can't torch be convergent beam of light ... but then how can we headlight of a vehicle a convergent beam of light ?

A divergent beam of light is produced if a torch is lit up due to the position of the bulb at the focus of the convex lens.A convex lens possesses such property......
