Solve :

1) n/3 + 1 = 4 - n

2) x/2 - 5 = x/3 -4

3) 18 - 3y/4 = 11 + y

 \frac{n}{3} + 1 = 4 - n \\ \frac{n + 3}{3} = 4 - n \\ n + 3 = 3(4 - n) \\ n + 3 = 12 - 3n \\ n + 3n = 12 - 3 \\ 4n = 9 \\ n = \frac{9}{4}
2).
 \frac{x}{2} - 5 = \frac{x}{3} - 4 \\ \frac{x}{2} - \frac{x}{3} = - 4 + 5 \\ \frac{3x - 2x}{6} = 1 \\ \frac{x}{6} = 1 \\ x = 1
3).
18 - \frac{3y}{4} = 11 + y \\ 18 - 11 = y + \frac{3y}{4} \\ 7 = \frac{4y + 3y}{4} \\ 7 = \frac{7y}{4} \\ 4 = y
