⏺️MODAL AUXILIARIES

✔️MODAL AUXILIARIES are always used with principal verb's that follows them and together with the principal verb they express mode or manner if action denoted by verb. They express such ideas as ability, capacity , probability, or possibility, permission, command, compulsion, duty, obligation, propriety.

➊ . USES OF WILL :

⚫WILL is used to express pure future with second and third person ( You, he, she, they, it)

Ex - You will die of hunger.

⚫To express willingness, intention, promise, determination, request, and insistence.

Ex - I will write to you again.

➋. USES OF WOULD

⚫To express a habit, polite request, wish, preference imaginary condition, hypothetical action in present / past.

Ex - He would rise early in the morning and go for a walk.

➌. USES OF SHALL

⚫SHALL is used to express pure future with 1st person ( I, we).

Ex - We shall learn this lesson tomorrow.

⏺️To express command, threat, warning, promise, determination, with the 2nd and 3rd person ( You, she, he, it, they).

Ex- He shall be punished, if he repeats his mistake.

⏺️To ask for advice, suggestion, request with 1st person in the Interrogative.

Ex- Shall I bring a cup of tea for you?

⚫Should is used to express duty, obligation, advisibility,.

Ex - He has a bad cold. He can't help himself in sneezing.
