This question is taken from the poem “The Solitary Reaper ” written by William Wordsworth.
Yes, poets often repeat the sound of different words. It is done in order to lend charm and attraction to the poem and to add to the music and lyricism of a poem . Whenever they use these words it seems like a musical sound to hear. Yes, we know that this ‘ Poetic Repetition ’ is called ‘ Alliteration ’ in poetic terms.
Yes, we can found many other instances of this. Look at the following lines :-
