Question!!

In a horse and a cart if action is NOT EQUAL to the reaction. Then how is horse pulled ??

Answer

: Newton third law of motion states that For every action force there is an equal and opposite reaction force.Horse exerted a action force on cart and cart exerted a equal and opposite forces in the form of reaction as a result cart will be pulled..

but if forces are not equal then due to breaking of newton law of motion... cart will be on rest

Hello!!

  • Newton’s third law of motion states that when one object exerts a force on another object, the second object instantaneously exerts a force back on the first.

  • These two forces are always equal in magnitude but opposite in direction.

  • These forces act on different objects and never on the same object.

  • Action and reaction both are not acted on the same body. So there is no chance of cancellation.
