Explanation:

Hold it there with a pair of tongs for about 10 seconds. Then remove it. A circular blackish ring is formed on the glass plate/slide. It indicates the deposition of unburnt carbon particles present in the luminous zone of the flame.

Explanation:

When we hold a metal vessel with a pair of tongs in the luminous zone of the flame, i.e. in the blue or yellow zone, then the temperature is pretty high there so the metal is likely to either get blackish in colour or will melt according to the properties of the metal and the temperature of the flame.

When we hold the metal vessel in the non-luminous, i.e. the black coloured zone, the temperature is very low there and it contains unburnt carbon particles which will get transferred on the surface of the metal due to which it will form a blackish ring.

I hope it helps and if it does then please leave a like and comment and mark me as the brainliest.
