Put the given values in above formula:

V1 = 0.3 × 1000 × 0.1047

V1 = 31.41 m/sec

To convert velocity in m/sec into kmph we have to multiply it by 3.6.

V1 = 31.41 × 3.6

V1 =113.076 kmph

b)

To convert 2 m/sec into kmph multiply it by 3.6.

V2 = 2 × 3.6

V2 = 7.2 kmph

To convert 2 m/sec into rpm put it in equation (1).

2 = 0.3 × N × 0.1047

N = 63.67

N ≈ 64

c)

To convert 80 kmph into m/sec multiply it by 0.2727.

V3 = 80 × 0.2727

V3 = 22.22 m/sec

To convert velocity in m/sec into rpm put it in equation (1).

22.22 = 0.3 × N × 0.1047

N = 707.418

N ≈ 707
