A zoo is a place where animals and birds are kept in enclosures and taken care of so that people can visit them. It was only last week that we visited the zoological park in Gangtok as part of a school field trip. The atmosphere and experience were so memorable and breath-taking that we can’t wait to visit again! The most amazing part was that we got to see so many endangered species like the red panda and the Himalayan black bear. We got to see them so close and it is a shame how these animals are endangered. Only if one has such experiences can we understand the harm humans do to these animals, but a zoo is also an example how we can protect the few remaining.

Today i visited the zoo with my friends . It was holiday and we planned for it for many days . The weather was very pleasant and that made our mood joyful. We reached the zoo in the afternoon and purchased our entry tickets . We enter through the west gate and were greeted by the monkeys whose cages were near . They were shouting and fighting for food which was thrown towards them by different visitors. After that we went towards the bird century . There were many colourful birds . And there were many species of birds . I loved looking at exotic animals like lemurs and pandas , Giant cats in an exclosure were fierce they were very big that i thought , and i see white leopard there roaming here and there , beer is also there he was leing down ( letna ) and in this manner he was looking innocent and cute , and fishes were swimming in glass cages , hippopotamus and snakes were the scariest . Then we move towards elephent and i was very thrilled to see this large animal . we enjoy a lot there and i tired so we sit at any place and we eat food that we brought with us from home . After that we left and come back home . We enjoy a lot . Its a beautiful experiance .
