Given : HOME is a rhombus

equation of the line that contains diagonal HM is y = 2/3 x + 7.

To Find :  slope of the line that contains diagonal OE

Solution:

Diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular to each other .

Multiplication of slope  of perpendicular lines = - 1

The equation of the line that contains diagonal HM is y = 2/3 x + 7.

Comparing with y = mx + c

m = 2/3

Slope of line = 2/3

Assume that Slope of the line  that contains diagonal OE  =  m

m x (2/3)  = - 1

=> m = - 3/2

slope of the line that contains diagonal OE  =  - 3/2
