1. Black Hole Tragedy was held among a small dungeon room in the Fort William in Calcutta, where troops of the Nawab of Bengal Siraj-ud-daula, held 146 British Prisoners of war for one night. The next day morning, when the door was opened 123 of the prisoners found dead because of suffocation.

2.The Battle of Plassey greatly benefited the British. ... Through their victory in this battle, the British East India Company acquired the Diwani of Bengal which gave them the rights to collect taxes. They were able to exploit people mercilessly in the name of tax collection and fill up their own coffers.

3.The Battle of Buxar (1764) was the decisive battle which was fought between English Forces, and combined army of Mir Kasim, the Nawab of Bengal, Nawab of Oudh Shah Alam II and Mughal Emperor. The battle was the outcome of misuse of Farman and Dastak, and also the trade expansionist aspiration of English.

4.The First Anglo–Mysore War (1766–1769) was a conflict in India between the Sultanate of Mysore and the East India Company. The war was instigated in part by the machinations of Asaf Jah II, the Nizam of Hyderabad, who sought to divert the company's resources from attempts to gain control of the Northern Circars.
