1) the mode of reproduction in which a single organism is able to reproduce one or more of its kind by itself is called asexual reproduction.

2) when a bulb like projection is formed on the body of an organism like yeast and hydra it is called bud. the nucleus of the parent body divides into two . one of the nuclei goes into the bud. when the bird gets matured, it detaches itself from parent body. this is known as budding.

3) formation of spores on the body of the organism like Bougainville is called fermentation.

4) the mode of reproduction in which both the parents(male and female) are needed to reproduce is called sexual reproduction.

5) the eatable parts of a plant are called vegetative parts.

Answer:

  1. Asexual reproduction = Asexual reproduction is a type of reproduction that does not involve the fusion of gametes or change in the number of chromosomes. The offspring that arise by asexual reproduction, are either from a single cell or from a multicellular organism, it inherits the genes of their single parent.
  2. Budding = Budding, in biology, a form of asexual reproduction in which a new individual develops from some generative anatomical point of the parent organism. In some species buds may be produced from almost any point of the body, but in many cases budding is restricted to specialized areas
  3. Fragmentation = Fragmentation, also known as splitting, is a form of asexual reproduction in which an organism splits into fragments. Each fragment develops into a mature clone genetically and morphologically identical to its parent.

The organism may develop specific organs or zones to shed or be easily broken off. If the splitting occurs without the prior preparation of the organism, both fragments must be able to regenerate the complete organism for it to function as reproduction.

Fragmentation as a method of reproduction is seen in organisms such as filamentous cyanobacteria, molds, lichens, sponges, acoel flatworms, some annelid worms and sea stars.

4 . Sexual reproduction = Sexual reproduction is a type of reproduction that involves a complex life cycle in which a gamete (such as a sperm or egg cell) with a single set of chromosomes (haploid) combines with another to produce an organism composed of cells with two sets of chromosomes (diploid)

5. Vegetative parts = Vegetative parts include roots, stems, shoot buds, and leaves; they are not directly involved in sexual reproduction. Vegetative parts often are used in asexual forms of reproduction such as cuttings, budding, or grafting.
