- Mixture is said to be Homogeneous Mixture if its composition is uniform throughout the components of the mixture and are not visible with the naked eye or even under a microscope
- Example : brine solution (saturated salt solution) 23% NaCl solution , Alloys and crude oil
- Mixture in which different constituents do not mix uniformly is called heterogeneous mixture. The components of the mixture are visible to naked eye itself and it is comparatively easy to separate them
- Example : Mixture of salt and copper sulphate and Mixture of water and oil
