Once you tell a lie, you will have to tell scores of other lies to prove that single lie a truth. Then there is always the fear of being caught. Nobody trusts a dishonest person. He will not be able to make progress in life as people would not like to be associated with him. A liar always held in contempt it seems ever nature is in favour of honesty as material thing acquired through dishonest means seldom bring happiness. An honest man, though he is poor, leads a contented life, where as a dishonest man though rich, lives in worries and fears so honesty is undoubtedly the best policy to be adopted in life. short passage

• Honesty is a highliy regarded trait. Once an individual lies, he has to make up so many lies just to cover one. Meanwhile, a single truth can set them free. A dishonest person is never trusted by any. Such people do not progress in life and are always tempted to lie. However, an honest person is free from all the worries of life, its fears and riches. They live their best life.
• This is why our elders remind us "Honesty is the best policy".
