Denominator cannot equal zero so x - 3 cannot = 0 OR x cannot = 3

Domain is all reals except 3.

x/(x-3) = 1 + 3/(x - 3) = y

Now 3/(x - 3) can take on all real number values EXCEPT 0.

(The only way for a fraction to equal zero is if the numerator equals zero while the denominator does not)

SO your range is 1 +/- ANYTHING (except anything can’t equal zero)

So the Range is all real numbers except 1.
