Some of the diseases caused due to release of less or more amount of hormones are given below -

1. When growth hormone is released in low level in the body, it results in dwarfism. The reason behind this is the low secretion of GH. This is called pituitary dwarfism.

2. And when the growth hormone is secreted in excess amount, it causes gigantism. The person suffering from it has extra growth in height.

3. When thyroid hormone is secreted in very high amount, it results in Exopthalmic Goitre. Here, the thyroid gland becomes large and produces thyroid hormone in high amount.
