let the digit at tens place be x.

So, as we've been told that the sum of two digits is 6 , so if digit at tens place is x then digit at ones place = 6-x

The number formed is 10x + 6-x = 9x+6

When we reverse the digits => 10(6-x) + x

= 60-10x+x = 60-9x

According To Question→

9x+6 + 18 = 60-9x

or, 9x+24 = 60-9x

or, 9x+9x = 60-24

or, 18x = 36

or, x = 36/18

or, x = 2

So, the number is 9x+6 = 9(2)+6 = 18+6 = 24

The number is 24.

Hope this helps!
