1) if you have to add two single digit numbers, then add them with the help of fingers.

2) if you have to add  two or more digit numbers..

First add 9 and 3 with the help of fingers. you get 12.  Write 2 below 3.  Write the carry = 1 above the column to the left.  So write 1 above 5.

Now add  1, 5, and 3.   First add 1 and 5, you get 6.  Now add 6 and 3. you get 9.  Carry is 0.  Write 9 below 3.  Write 0 above 2.

             9  2

Now add 0 and 2.   you get 2.  add 2 and 8.  you get 10.  write  0 below 8 and 1 above 9 on top and to the left of 0.

Now add 9 and 1.  So you get 10.. write 0 below 9 and 1 to the left of it.

answer is     259+ 9833 = 10092

To add two numbers - 

For example - 
   1 1
   5 6 4 7    Step 1 - Start from the right side and make your way towards the       + 3 4 9 2                        left.
----------------   Step 2 - 7 + 2 = 9
   9 1 3 9     Step 3 -  4 + 9 = 13
                   Step 3 - As the sum is a two digit number, take the digit to the  
----------------   left and add it to the next pair of numbers.
                   Step 4 - Continue the same process with the next two pairs.
                   Step 5 - Display the answer as the sum.
