Answer:

On solving (x+ 5 )^{2}  we get , x^{2} + 10 x + 25 \\  and on further factorizing we get , x =  -5 , x =  -5 .

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve : (x+ 5 )^{2}

Solution :

  • According to question we are asked to find the value of (x+ 5 )^{2}  .
  • Here we can see that , (x+ 5 )^{2}  is of the form of identity :(a + b ) ^{2}  = a^{2} + 2ab + b^{2} .
  • Here , a =  x and b = 5
  • Applying above identity we get ,

       (x+ 5 )^{2} = x^{2} + 2 ( x ) ( 5 )+ ( 5 )^{2}

                    = x^{2} + 10 x + 25 \\

  • On factorizing x^{2} + 10 x + 25 \\ we get ,

        =x^{2}  +5x  + 5x + 25\\\\ = x ( x + 5 ) + 5 ( x + 5 ) \\\\= ( x + 5 )(x  + 5 )

       x =  -5 , x =  -5

Note :

Question for above solution is :  How to solve  (x+ 5 )^{2}  ?
