Answer:

24

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the units digit be b and tens digit be a

Sum of digits is 6

=a+b=6 -- (i)

If 18 is added to the no.the no. is formed by interchanging the digits.

10a+b+18=10b+a

10a+b-10b-a= - 18

9a - 9b= - 18

9(a-b)= - 18

a-b= - 18/9= - 2 --(ii)

By subtracting equation (I) and (ii), we get

a+b=6

a-b= -2

- + +

_______

2b = 8

Therefore, b=8/2=4

Now solving equation (i) we get

a+4=6

a=6-4=2

The original number =(10×2+4)=24
