The natural fuels formed from the remains of living organisms buried under the earth long long years ago are called as Fossil Fuels.

2.Anaerobic thermal degradation of wood refers to the process by which wood is burnt in the absence of air. This results into the incomplete combustion of the wood, leaving a residue mostly composed of carbon. This is the process by which char, including coke and charcoal, is made.

3.Yes the petroleum occurs deep inside the earth but yet it floats on water because the density of the petroleum is less than the water therefore it floats in water.
