Most of the houses in Punjab have flat roofs, while
most of the houses in Kerala have sloping roofs.
Can you say why this is so?​

Explanation:

  • Punjab lies in the northern part of India. It does not recieve much rainfall.
  • Whereas Kerala lies in the southern part of India and receives very high rainfall.
  • For rain water to not get collected on the roof, it is made sloping so that water flows away.
