When hour hand cover 3/4 (= 9 hour) of clock then minute hand complete 540 circle of clock .
length of minute hand = 1 cm
distance covered in complete one circle = 2πr = 2×22/7× 1
= 6.28
distance covered in complete 540 circle = 6.28×540
= 3391.2 cm
Distance = 3391.2 cm
displacement = minimum distance covered by minute hand = H
H² = P² + B²
H² = 1²+1²
H² = 2
H = √2
Displacement = √2 cm
