THE BOY SAID SO BECAUSE HIS GRANDFATHER HAD GROWN OLD AND COULD NOT CLIMB TREES ANYMORE. THE BOY COULD SPEND HS TIME LEISURELY ON TOP OF THE TREE AND NO ONE COULD ACCOMPANY HIM UP THERE. THUS THE BOY SAYS THAT THE BANYAN TREE WAS HIS PROPERTY.
