Answer:

200 ml

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

solution = 50ml

Bleach = 5%

rest is water i.e 95 % water

to find out = water quality added due to which bleach become 1% of the solution

Solution :-

50 ml is total solution then

5/100×50 = 2.5 ml

rest is water i.e 50 - 2.5 = 47.5 ml

now it is saying that 2.5 is not 5% but it is 1% bcoz water is changing there is no change in bleach

now in this case

2.5 = 1%

100=?

100/1×2.5

=> 250 ml

at beginning there was 47.5 ml water but now total solution is 250 ml out of which 2.5 is bleach

so

250-2.5(bleach)-47.5(already present )

250-50

= 200 ml
