how 40.02 ×10^-8 gets converted to 4.002×10^-7 my question is why 40.02 gets changed to 4.002​ is anyone smart over here to answer my question​

40.02 * 10^-8 = 4.002*10^-7 ,

because on multiplying 10 with something the point turns right, like 2.5*10 = 25.0 or 25

but when the power of 10 is (-8) it turns left, means like division!

For ex - 10.5*10^-2 = 1.05.

This phenomenon happens because power get negitive only when it is moved from denominator to numenitor ,, like

10/2^2 , when (2^2) will move up it will be 10*2^-2 it answer will be 2.5

10/2^2 = 2.5,

10*2^-2 = 2.5

So, here 40.02 one point turns left and it becomes 4.002*10^-7

...
