How 4x - 50/5x - 50 = 7/9 ?

( 4x - 50 ) (9) = (5x - 50 ) (7).......By cross multiplication.
36x - 450 = 35x - 350......By term by term multiplication.
36x - 35x = -350 +450.....By transposing method.
x = 100.

Now by placing the value of x in the given equation, you can prove that 4x- 50 ÷ 5x - 50 = 7÷ 9
4x = 400
5x= 500
400 - 50 ÷ 500 - 50 =
350 ÷ 450 =
7 / 9
Hence proved
