 Given \:number \: \sqrt{500}

 = \sqrt{ 100 \times 5 } \\= \sqrt{10^{2} \times 5 } \\= 10\sqrt{5}

 Now, \red{Rationalising \:factor \:of \:\sqrt{500} }

\: is \: \sqrt{5}

 Product = \sqrt{500} \times \sqrt{5} \\= 10\sqrt{5} \times \sqrt{5} \\= 10 \times 5 \\= 50 \: \blue { ( rational \: number ) }
