It is before the Lok Sabha the bill is first placed and passed onto Rajyasabha. When Rajya Sabha agrees and passes the bill it will be sent for assent to the President of India.

The president has the right to ask for modifications in the existing bill or accept it as such.

After the compliance, it will be sent to the President and this time the president will have to give the assent. After the signature of a president of India, the bill is legally converted into a law.
