There are various steps required to become a moderator at Brainly. The people who good at communication and answering are those who form a part of a moderators team.
1) Good user: The first step towards becoming a moderator is being a good user. Being a good user not only means answering, but also creating a positive environment. A good user is the one who helps others and gets ahead in ranks and best answers constantly.
2) Brainly benefactor: If a user is really good at his/her work, he/she is given a special rank. This rank is the 'Brainly Benefactor' rank. They are like benefactors to Brainly. They are certified, good users. They all are the part of Brainly Benefactor team. Their performance is analyzed from time to time.
During moderators' recruitment, there is an election held amongst the Brainly benefactors. It's surely a competitive one since there, the best users compete to become a moderator. It usually depends on time to time how many moderators are to be recruited.
3) Apprentice: After a Brainly Benefactor is recruited, he/she shifts from the Benefactor team to the Moderator's team. Since they are new here, they are given the 'Apprentice' ranks meaning those who are learning because they are still learning the responsibilities of moderatorship.
4) Moderator: After some weeks or so, if a user becomes perfect for a full-fledged moderator, he/she is given the 'Moderator' rank. There are various types of moderators and each one has various responsibility. They are guided by the admins and the leader moderators.
