Solar energy can be used for cooking by placing a large concave mirror near the cooker in such a way that the sun rays falling on the mirror reflects and hit the cook.
Since,sun rays are coming parallel towards the concave mirror,the concave mirror will converge the rays to meet at a point.And this point is what produces large amount of heat energy which will help in cooking.
