In the past few years, some scientists have used those distortions in space- time to think of possible ways time machines could work . ... In all time travel theories allowed by real science, there is no way a traveler can go back in time to before the time machine was built.

A time machine isn't created yet..
But surprising things happen if u move through space time, especially when your speed is close to the speed of light. Time goes slower for u than for the people left behind .
Example: if u travel at the speed of light and started your journey in 2017 then it would take you only 5 years to travel to the year 2067 whereas it would have taken all of your friends 50 years. This means u are time travelling.
This is a way to go to the future at a rate of 1hour per hour,, but u couldn't go back to your past.
Time travel is possible in the future, but we would need to develop some very extremely advance technology to do it.. We could travel 10000 years into the future and age only 1 year during that time.
