how acceleration and velocity work together in cricket?

  • acceleration is the rate of change of velocity . So in cricket when a baller throws a ball he throws it with a certain acceleration and as soon as the batsman hit the ball it follows a projectile path which has some initial velocity and the horizontal acceleration is 0 while vertical acceleration is -g .
