William Slim talks about two types of courage – physical and moral. While it is relatively easy to develop physical courage, attaining moral courage is more challenging. It is actually this moral courage that determines man’s progress to a great extent. If the occasion demands, we must have the courage to speak against public opinion and even saying unpleasant truths. Doing this may even make us unpopular. But, this is a true example of moral courage.
