Acids are substances that can erode metal. When poured on a marble floor, such as of the bathroom, make a hissing sound.

Salts are bases.

e.g.,

Acid => acetic acid ( lemon juice )

Hydrochloric acid

Salts ( Bases ) => Toothpaste

Baking soda
