How actually current flows through earth wire if leakage happens?

Answer:The current flows from one point of the circuit, through ground, then back into the circuit. With only one connection to ground there is no circuit for the current to flow through. It can't flow to ground, because there is nowhere for it to flow.

Earthing is used to protect you from an electric shock. It does this by providing a path for a fault current to flow to earth. It also causes the protective device by using circuit-breaker in high voltage level and fuse in low voltage level to switch off the electric current to the circuit that has the fault or unbalance current.
