Answer:

✔️Adrenaline is known as the emergency hormone because it is released by the adrenal glands under the conditions of stress or excitement.

1️⃣ Adrenaline prepares the body to face emergency.

For that:

(i) It increases the supply of oxygen and glucose to muscles and brain.

(ii) It increases the heart rate and the amount of blood pumped by heart per beat.

(iii) It dilates the air passages and constricts the blood vessels.

2️⃣This hormone is a part of the body’s stress response called the flight response.

3️⃣Adrenaline's effect on muscles accounts for amazing strength. Adrenaline acts on muscles, allowing them to contract more than they can when the body is in a calm or neutral state.

4️⃣Adrenaline facilitates the conversion of the body's fuel source (glycogen) into its fuel (glucose).
