• Transportation : Industries provide materials for the manufacture of tyres and automobiles. These vehicles helps in transportation of agricultural products to different places where they can be sold. Even roads are made from the bi - products of industries which also helps in transportation of the agricultural products.

• Fertilizers, Farm Tools and Pesticides : Industries manufacture pesticides and fertilisers which help the farmers to have a better yield from the crops. This increases the income of farmers, since more yield will help them to sell more grains and then earn more money. Even farm tools are also manufactured by industries which are used by farmers. Examples of farm tools include plougher, harvester, riper, etc.

• Raw Materials : Agricultural products provide raw materials for the agro based industries which help them to manufacture different types of goods. All the packed food items, tyres, cotton clothes, jute bags, etc. are products of agro based industries which are indirectly produced from raw materials from farms. Farms give cotton, sugarcane for sugar production, food items, etc. Also the jute given by them is used for manufacture of tyres.

• Seeds and Organic fuel :: We know that nowadays farmers use HYV (High Yielding Variety) seeds which gives more production and are usually cheaper than the native seeds. These HYV seeds are produced by industries only which are then purchased by farmers to use. And in return farmers produce organic fuels like Jatropha, etc. which are used by industries to run small scale machines. Also farmers give out organic waste to industries which produce biogas from it.

• Source of Market : Industries act as a source of market for the agricultural produce by purchasing the agricultural commodities in bulk. And in return the agricultural field acts as a market to the industrial products. Industries even own many of the farms and agricultural fields which turn agriculture as Commercial one. Even many of the agricultural groups and cooperatives own many of the agro - based industries which helps them to manufacture goods from their produce.
