alveoli supplied by the rich blood capillaries taking blood from the various parts of the body to the lungs having deoxygenated blood that means carbon dioxide contained in blood so blood discharge just the carbon dioxide into the alveoli and absorbs oxygen from the alveoli process of diffusion and oxygenated blood carries to the heart and pumps throughout the body .
