Dandi march - A 24 day march that took place from 12 March to 6 April in 1930 from Sabarmati ashram to Dandi.. it was a non violent protest against the British salt monopoly that was established in India...

After travelling 240 miles (10 miles a day) Gandhi broke the salt law at 6:30 am on 6 April 1930.....
