The vibrations in the ear get amplified in the Ear Ossicles(Malleus, Incus, Stapes)OR(Hammer, Anvil, Stirrup) or the ear bones by their movements.

The stepwise explanation of the vibration getting amplification in the eardrum is as follows :
The very first step is the gathering of sound done by pinna and then the second step involves the carrying of sound done by the auditory canal and after that comes the amplification performed by the three bones viz. hammer , anvil and stirrup and then the amplified sound waves are converted into electrical waves by cochlea contained in the inner ear. These waves are then carried into the brain by the auditory nerves.
IN CONCLUSION , the vibrations of sond waves are amplified in the ear ossicles containing the three bones that are hammer , anvil and stirrup.
