Helen was angry and embittered with her life. Anger siezed her every time she made a failed attempt to speak. After such moments passed she wouldn't feel even a tinge of repentence. Helen used to become impatient when Miss Sullivan made repeated attemts to make her teach the things she couldn't understand. But when finally Miss Sullivan succeeded in teaching Helen what water is and opened the door to knowledge, Helen's hope was renewed. Now she listened patiently to her teacher.
