Answer:

the manufacturer gains 10% on x

so price becomes

x( 1 + \frac{10}{100} ) = \frac{110}{100} x

for wholesaler

Now the wholesaler gains 15% on 110/100 x

so price becomes

 \frac{110x}{100} (1 + \frac{15}{100} ) = \frac{110}{100} x \times \frac{115}{100} = \frac{253}{200} x

for retailer

Now the retailer gains 25% on 253/500 x

so price becomes

 \frac{253}{200} x(1 + \frac{25}{100} ) = \frac{253}{200} x \times \frac{5}{4} = \frac{253}{160} x

for customer

retail \: price = \frac{253}{160} x = 1265 \\ 253x = 1265 \times 160 \\ x = \frac{1265 \times 160}{253} \\ = 800
