When the Rawat Act was passed in the British Parliament, the Viceroy of India and the Imperial Legislative Council came into force on 7 April. The law imposes various restrictions on Indians. Ordinary people's justice is violated, army and police are allowed to arrest, imprison and confiscate property of ordinary Indians without the least evidence to be submitted.
